“This sounds like what you do!” they said.
The article is about House Managers who are on staff in upscale homes to help with the running of the house. I’ve also heard this person be referred to as “a wife” no matter their gender. And I remember when house spouses were referred to as “The CEO of the Home” which may have been a pandering remark, but you get the idea.
